Revelation 21:4 ESV

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.

I WILL HELP YOU

Stephanie, David and Kevin: In 2012, Wendy was a mother of four children. Stephanie of eight, Nicole was six, David had five and baby Kevin who was one year old. Wendy worked in the trash dump all day, so Stephanie’s responsibility was to take care of her brothers, cook and clean the house.

One Saturday morning Stephanie sent her brother David to pick water from a well the neighbors had to filter water that went down from the dump, they used that water to wash their clothes. Twenty minutes had passed, so Stephanie wondered why her brother was taking so long, she went to look for him.

She found him drowned in the water well, quickly she took him out but it was too late. He was dead.

Soon the neighbors, Wendy and I came to the house. Stephanie ran into my arms and said to me “Pastor I prayed for him, I prayed that God didn’t let him died, I prayed and God didn’t heard me! Why he didn’t answer my prayer?”

What do you say to an eight year old in a situation like this, I just didn’t knew what to say, so I hugged her and we cried together.

Four years have passed, it was 2016 and the water well was closed after the incident, so Stephanie and her brothers had to visit a brook close to the trash dump school to wash her clothes, because Wendy still had to work in the trash dump.

With the blink of an eye, while crossing the street a car run over Kevin, crushing his leg. Stephanie though the story was repeating once again and she was going to lost a second brother.

Kevin was found minutes later and he was quickly taken to the hospital. He used a cast and had nails into his leg for several months. His leg is doing fine now and he is walking again.

Stephanie at her young age lost her childhood, making herself responsible of her younger brothers.

But thanks to the love of God, we could reach her and give her innocence back.
